HABITAT Found in quiet waters of lakes and swamps. Can be found in water up to 5' deep.  

CHARACTERISTICS An aggressively spreading plant with large rhizomes and  

large round leaves emerging 2-5' above the water. Showy flowers may be white or pale  

yellow 7-11 " in diameter and appear July to September.

CHARACTERISTICS Large, heart shaped green leaves are either found floating on the water or emerged and held erect up to  

16" tall. Inconspicuous yellow flowers are borne from May to October.
