Native herb most commonly found in sandy soils of beaches, dunes and salt marshes. Occasionally
found inland.
CHARACTERISTICS
Herbaceous perennial with fleshy green leaves borne on stems that can reach up to 7' tall. Yellow
terminal panicles bloom July through October.
